JDM seniors begin new media adventures

JDM students finished the 2014 spring semester television production schedule with a flourish producing and airing the second Ashland Co. Commissioner debate live and the last News Update on AUTV20.

AUTV20 Advisor Tim McCarty was pleased with their strong finish, "To end with an hour-long live program simulcast on radio and TV and also a newscast during the week before finals, says a lot about the quality of these students." McCarty said.

For JDM seniors this time of transition means as one media experience ends, another begins.

Chris Bils is applying for journalism and media positions.
Elizabeth Bucheit was hired by ESPN in Bristol, CN.
Marin Haba is interviewing for journalism and media positions.
Ryan Sampson was accepted into the graduate Interactive Media program at Elon University in North Carolina.
Melanie Sudar was hired by Spire Marketing in Ashland, Ohio.
Rebecca Ribley was hired as a Reporter by the ABC affiliate, WAOW in Wisconsin.
Kristen Yenny is interviewing at Monumentum Media Group.
"I speak for all of us at JDM when I say, we're very proud of this group!" McCarty said.
