Professional Instructor Tim McCarty of the Department of Journalism and Digital Media is one of four faculty members in the College of Arts and Sciences who was recently named an AU Mentor.The program honors faculty whose work and leadership with students extends beyond the classroom. Students nominate faculty and staff members and must write a one-page essay about their mentor.
McCarty will be recognized at a Board of Trustees luncheon on Feb. 1. At that time, he will learn who nominated him.
