Eagles Eye: Lydia Bice

Congratulations to May 2022 Ashland University graduate and AUTV 20 Executive News Producer and Digital Media Production major Lydia Bice who will now be the Digital Content Producer at Dayton 24/7 Now. Lydia returns to her hometown and will join December 2021 AU grad and DMP major MacKenzie Cook at the television station.

Eagles Eye: Carrie Smith

Congratulations to Digital Media Production major Carrie Smith, who graduated on May 7th. Carrie was the General Manager of AUTV-20 and Promotions Director for 88.9 WRDL. She was also a host of The Early Bird's Word morning radio show for WRDL the past two years. During her time at Ashland University, Carrie was honored with the first Robin Meade Scholarship, the Weidenmeyer-Sindelar Scholarship,and the AU JDM Department Academic Honors Award (3 years). Carrie will be pursuing a career in radio, as she was hired by K96 WKFM and 95.3 WLKR to a board operator/announcer position.

In this special edition of Eagle's Eye, Lydia Bice talks with Digital Media Journalism Senior Gracie Wilson about her time at Ashland University, her work with JDM student media outlets and future goals. Gracie graduated in May of 2022 and now she will work as an Associate Editor at Cleveland Magazine.
