The Collegian wins national awards
The Collegian digital and print newspaper is off to a great start for the 2023-24 academic year. Recently, the student-created newspaper won an American Scholastic Press Association First Place award in the college newspaper category. This is the second year in a row that The Collegian received the First Place award. This week, an article written by DMJ junior Brynn Meisse garnered a Best of SNO award. SNO Sites platform is a hosting source for digital college and high school newspapers.It is the largest provider of college and K-12 student news sites in the country. Brynn's article on AU Student Sarah Watson was selected over feature stories from more than 383 college newspapers.
